Dougie's 20mm Etch Brass Bar Armour
Used on a Brittania Scimitar
Folks, after quite a few requests I'm doing another order for my etch brass bar armour sheet. The sheet is a generic 1/72 scale etch brass fret with the correct profile. This time its only available in an A4 sheet which has meant the price has gone up, having said that 1 sheet would do probably 20ish vehicles, so for most people you'll only ever need the single sheet. As before I'll need the money up front by PayPal, this order will run until April 30th at the latest with the brass being produced then and delivered within about 2 weeks. The price is £24 for an A4 sheet with postage at cost on top, if you want a sheet contact me with your order and your email address and I'll PayPal invoice you. Dougie

WIP ManPAD Team
As well as this blog one of the other places I regularly visit and post on is the Guild
http://www.guildwargamers.com/phpBB3/index.php
There's a nice group of folks over there and if you're at all interested in 20mm you should pay it a visit. They have regular Group Builds, the latest one being "FLAK", which is where this post comes in. I've decided to enter a 20mm Taliban ManPAD Team engaging a "Mosquito". The 2 man team will be on a scenic base with suitable cover. Below is the base with the 2 figures from the very tidy range by Under Fire Miniatures

The boys painted up.
The SA7 missile contructed from plastic rod and wire.
Part of the cover, lots more to do!
The missile taking shape.
Lots of work still to do, further updates to follow. Dougie

RPG!
I always like to add the little scenic details to my games, a while a go I scratch built an RPG marker, the photo above, after Shaun from S&S Models saw it we had a discussion about producing it as a casting. Obviously because of the limitations of casting Shaun simplified it and its turned out really nice, the photo below, casting painted up and based by my goodself. Get in touch with Shaun at S&S if you want a few. The last shot is an in theatre image of an ANP officer letting one go! Dougie

Some Old Stuff
I'm currently working on a small commission for someone so in the meantime I thought I'd put up some photos of some of my figures, vehicles and terrain. First off is a container very useful for those Afghan/Iraq games, 20mm scale. Dougie
