Looks great, Dougie. What Vallejo colour did you use for the rifle? Some sort of grey?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Mike
Mike, yup shades of grey, I'll cover this is a tutorial together with flesh that I've had a few requests for, basically for the rifle less is definately more and try to hit the edges/highlights of the weapon.
Deletewow. I'll come back to this tutorial one day as it is very handy
ReplyDeleteYour work is always spot on, Dougie
ReplyDeleteHi Dougie,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say thanks for posting your guide. I tried it this weekend on my MJ Brits and it worked a treat. I found putting the dark sand over the English uniform a bit scary but then the whole scheme suddenly started to pop, brilliant. Thanks mate. I'll post a link to some pics a bit later.
Looks like my new Falklands collection is well under way
Jonathan
Cheers Jonathan, I'd like to see how they've turned out, I've only got the first 2 packs of MJ figures hopefully more will be imminent!
DeleteGreat tutorial, can you tell us what you use for the flesh tones?
ReplyDeleteFantastico step by step. This makes it easy to see how the painting was done and what technique was used. Thanks for sharing!
