20mm Top Malo House

I've had this on the go for about 2 years! So I'm making an effort to get it completed. The photos show where we're at now. Basic construction from 3mm foamboard and cardboard. Next step will be cladding it in plastic "Wriggly Tin". Dougie

  1. Hi Dougie, Shame to spend all that effort just to have the place burn down when Mountain & Arctic Warfare Cadre brass it up! I look forward to your Top Malo battle. I haven't gamed this engagement yet which is an embarrassing admission for a Falklands obsessive. Aye, Rusty

    1. Yes it won't have provided much stopping power!

  2. Hello, I don't think that you were aware of this, but the Top Malo house only had one door. That was significant issue during the engagement. The door between the two windows should not be there. The window on the same face, nearest to the wall with the door also needs to be moved to where the door is now.

    1. Hi Sapper, I know, the walls were cut out before I spoke to Timecast and had a look at their version so I'll be adjusting it. I visited the scene in 1984 and there wasn't much left!

  3. Care to give some dimensions for the building? Overall size, distances between windows, etc? I want to do this in 15mm as the TimeCast model, while gorgeous, isn't very usable for Force on Force.
