I've ordered some 28mm scenic items from Black Cat Bases, farm implements, tools etc, to liven the house up a bit, they havent arrived yet so in the meantime I've added a couple of pots and an AK.

The Lambaste Family transport and some walkers
More Walking Dead stuff, nearly bought a resin 28mm pickup for a silly amount of cash when my son suggested looking in toy shops. The Land Rover is by Burago who make toy cars, its a bit over scale at 1/43rd but it looks ok. Oh is cost 99p !!! Dougie
The Family Transport, the diecast's been tarted up a little, I went for the worn post zombie apocalypse look.
Some walkers, I'm up to 15 now, a mixture of Studio and Heresy, couldn't resist Mr. Jackson!

28mm Afghanistan - Skirmish Sangin
As regular readers will know I have quite a sizable 20mm Afghan collection, since the advent of "Skirmish Sangin" I wanted to start a collection in 28mm using the wonderful Empress and Eureka Miniatures. The system is very low level and you don't need a large collection.
In relation to terrain I've used my 20mm stuff with the obvious exception of buildings, the crops arn't as high as I'd like but you can't have everything! If your interested in this system check out their blog below
http://skirmishsangin.blogspot.co.nz/
First off are a couple of Photos of my first Empress figures, out of interest there's a full tutorial on the skirmish sangin blog on how I painted the Brits and the joy that is 28mm MultiCam!
3PARA fireteam
Taliban Fighters
Next up are the figures in theatre, the whole board is only 3 feet square and you can have quite a good engagement of something of this size.
Some views around the table

Renedra 1/56th scale 28mm Mud Brick House Part 3
Progress with this building, the door's been painted, distressed and attached, the structure given a drab monotone colour and attached to the base which I've finished. All that's left to do is add some small scenic details and pull it all together with a dusting.

The Lambaste Family 28mm Survivors
Hi Folks,
the Lambaste Family my first 3 survivors for a "Walking Dead" zombie apocalypse world. The figures are Hasslefree. I went for the clean look, although I was tempted to do the really dirty worn appearence you see in the "Walking Dead", I've a Studio Miniatures pack of the Grimes Family, so perhaps with them......

From left to right, Alyxx, Finn, and Lisa Lambaste
Some close ups, Finn first
A close up of the sledgehammer and the splattered zombie brains

Renedra 1/56th scale 28mm Mud Brick House Part 2
The base has been cut from 2mm mdf and the edge chamfered, the structure's had a blast of Halfords grey primer. I think I'll be painting it seperately from the base then attaching it and dusting the whole lot down to key it together.
