Renedra 1/56th scale 28mm Mud Brick House

Knocked this up for an initial Afghan dwelling, went together ok, the joints needed some filling but because the majority of these buildings are quite shoddy in construction its not a massive issue. It'll be getting based with maybe some bits and pieces of afghan life lying around, the usual stuff, pots, jars, farm tools, AK's.

  1. That should look really good when you get some paint on and add in the additional bits and bobs!

  3. Are you gaming Sangin mainly in 28mm now Dougie? The buildings I made for skirmish sangin can accommodate both 1/56 & 1/72... I just prefer 20mm

    1. Hi BadDog, I'm using both but just really started on the 28mm side, obviously terrain wise I'm using everything that I did for 20mm apart from the buildings with doors where they're a bit small. I blame Empress and Eureka, their figures are far too nice!

  4. Does this building scale well with 20mm FIGURES?

    1. Hi Nick I'd say this would be a fair bit too big for 20mm, the door height on the model is 33mm so the 20mm figures would look quite small next to it.
