Always like to play this scenario to refresh my memory of the Force on Force rules. The rules definitely reward regular play.
This scenario uses the asymmetric rules so regulars always have the initiative.
To start some photos of the setup. The scenario revolves around, in my version, 2 contractors being ambushed in a hostile area of Basra, Iraq. Their vehicle has been immobilised and they’re just about out of ammunition. A British multiple of 2 fire teams and a senior NCO are in the area and are coming to assist.
They have 6 turns to reach the contractors and escort them off the table.
The picture below shows the setup, the contractors are at the red SUV at the crossroads the British forces have deployed on the road at the bottom of the picture.
It’s a good scenario to either start with or refresh the rules.
